It renews itself
The contract "will automatically renew for the same period".
Peninsula emails a reminder at least 90 days before the end. Clause g

You must give notice you won't renew at least one month before the end of the period.

Renewals rise by a fixed 2% for a year or less, 6% for up to three years and 10% for longer.

Can I leave a Peninsula contract early?
Peninsula's published terms say that after the first full year you can end the contract by paying 30% of the remaining balance. Before the end of the first year, you also pay the rest of that year's fees. Your own contract may differ, so check it.
Does Peninsula's advice line use lawyers?

How much does Peninsula cost?
Peninsula doesn't publish prices. Its pricing page says plans are quoted on your business size, contract term and the services you need. HR Command plans start from $2,500 a year (ex GST), and every price is on our website.
What was the ACCC case about?
In February 2023 the Full Federal Court ordered the business now trading as Peninsula to pay a $3 million penalty over six Google Ads, run between 2016 and 2018, that suggested a link to the Fair Work Ombudsman or Fair Work Commission. ACCC media release. Separately, in 2020 the Federal Court dismissed an ACCC case that alleged the same business's contract terms were unfair. ACCC media release.
Does HR Command auto-renew or charge exit fees?
No. There's no auto-renewal and no exit fee, on any plan.
How do I switch from Peninsula?
